Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid Transfer Ban Will Keep Them from Hunting for 2 Windows

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid both have been banned form players’ registration between 2016 February and the summer of 2017. Real Madrid transfer ban alike Atletico Madrid is due to rule violations. The severe punishment was given by FIFA’s disciplinary committee because of breaching regulations governing the under aged players’ transfers.

Talkative Reasons to Answering Questions

According to Spanish transfer news, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are facing the same two-transfer window ban as Barcelona. The decision of FIFA’s Discipline Committee was published on Thursday after a year-long investigation. So what have the two clubs done wrong? Will they appeal? And will they now go transfer crazy? Hopefully these questions will be answered soon.

Firstly, the ban does not affect the current window but after this month (January) neither Real nor Atletico will be able to register any new players until the summer of 2017.

Secondly, they will probably appeal as Atletico Madrid have already confirmed it and Real Madrid are expected to follow their rivals. Moreover, it is not probable to transfer like crazy during the last weeks of January, mainly because clubs do not usually prefer selling their best players during the mid-season transfer window.

Past and Future Parallels

According to Fifa’s statement: “The two clubs were found to have violated several provisions concerning the international transfer and first registration of minor players as well as other relevant provisions with regard to the registration and participation of certain players in competitions. Additionally, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have been fined CHF 900,000 and CHF 360,000 respectively, while both clubs have been issued with a reprimand and given 90 days in which to regularize the situation of all minor players concerned.”

The Real Madrid transfer ban was a result of transfer related actions of the club which did not follow the regulations of FIFA. Between the period of 2005-2014 the rules believed to have broken in the case of  50 players roughly, including the children of the current coach Zinedine Zidane – Enzo, Luca, Theo and Eliaz.

Possible Predictions

This verdict is disappointing for every player but especially for those who have expected quite big changes within Real Madrid, two offloading players Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema  have been looking for something else, but not this. Real Madrid transfer ban is something that everybody reacts in different ways, some are happy and some are disappointed.

Both clubs have announced their intention to appeal to the transfer ban However, based on the former results in connection with Barcelona  – who were hit by a similar sanction in April 2014 and failed with their appeals to FIFA- high hopes should be left on the pitch. But for now, soccer fans are observing every move of the Spanish giants in order to get the latest updates related to Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid transfer news.
