Clippers Star Blake Griffin Injured During Fight

One of the hottest topics of the online basketball news is the minor fight between Blake Griffin and Matias Testi. The (26) basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Baseball Association had an incident with the assistant equipment manager so he punched his face and broke his own hand.

On that particular evening some good old friends were going out for a friendly dinner in Toronto’s entertainment district.  After their usual teasing sessions with Testi, Griffin spoiled the evening by punching repeatedly into Testi’s face. After the policeman arrived, they interrogated the two man but at the end, no report was taken.

According to the online betting news, they both were sent back to Los Angeles after the altercation where Clippers Star, Blake Griffin underwent a surgery in order to get his spiral fracture repaired in the fourth metacarpal (in the middle of the fourth finger).

NBA and Clippers are both scrutinizing the event, and they might feel shameful about the incident since they emphasized that this current issue does not represent them as a team.

Back in 2004, Blake Griffin has involved in a same situation when slapped a man and gripped his phone, but that case was completely forgotten.

Although he has returned to Los Angeles, Griffin won’t be able to play in the last 3 game trips of the team because of his injury. He will be side-lined at least 4 weeks – and this is not the first time since 26 December – and the possibility of paying a fine or being suspended shouldn’t be ruled out.

He apologized on twitter about what he did and his team strengthened, they are sure that Griffin is a good guy. On the contrary, it seems he won’t be avoiding the complete investigation conducted by NBA and the Clippers, and as it was promised in a statement, appropriate action will be taken.

According to online basketball news sources, Blake Griffin will miss the All-Star game which will take place on the 14th of February. It is time recalculate your betting odds and read our Online Basketball Betting Guide if you want to bet on Western Conference team or Los Angeles Clippers, both of which will be without Griffin for a while.
